Elliptical authenticity embedded through intercepted, interlocking and interweaving movement.

Energy, momentum, time, position. Variable movement therapy parallels, and graphically illuminates stylistic qualities characteristic of the dancer’s mind, and spirit.

Freestyle Choreography as abstract statements about physical presence, accents to an evolving body vocabulary.

To observe, refine, adapt, and endure the physical process. To understand more fully the discipline, liquid identities, and states of mind of my subject, and collaborator.

Collage within photography reflect rhythms within rhythms, with dynamic structure, tension, and breathing space. The process was guided by thinking about how language is a body, but also how language makes bodies, and finally how bodies both make, and abstract justification.

The elements of sweat, effort, energy, line, texture, humor, and storytelling swings, and pitches onto floor culture, to deep footwork, to abstract bboying. All of which are essential components to music, expressing an era of counter- and sub- cultural values.

Intrigued by the electricity generated from the live performance of the dancer, images were created with its own distinctive spirit, and rhythm. The book brought pleasure in recalling the excitement of the initial performance. As a witness to the god-like physical complexities of sound, the divinity in motion that complicates the woven environment. Stilled by the critical connection of the camera’s eye.
